Happy 30th Anniversary, Results!

For those who don’t know me, I’m Leo Frincu, the owner of Results Fitness Center, with locations in Sherman Oaks and Studio City.

Twenty years ago, on April 1, 2006, on my 30th birthday I signed the lease and purchase contract for Results Personal Training in Sherman Oaks. At the time, I had no idea what I was truly getting myself into.

I was simply an immigrant from Romania who believed in the American Dream.
Gene had owned Results for 10 years and was ready to move on. I gave him every dollar I had saved over the previous three years as a personal trainer and took out a loan, promising to pay him every month until the debt was fully repaid.

No formal higher education.
I do not have a business degree.

But I had something else.
I drew upon the lessons I learned growing up under communism and the discipline I developed as a professional athlete.

So, I told myself one simple thing: “I’ll figure it out.” And somehow, I did.

Over the past 20 years, we have experienced everything together.
The housing market crash of 2008.
The COVID-19 pandemic.
Economic ups and downs.

Yet, here we are.
Thirty Years of Results.
Over the years, I have realized that three factors are responsible for our success.
