At Results, our commitment to enhancing your fitness journey drives us to continually update our equipment offerings. We’re excited to introduce two new additions to our facility: the hex bar and the Assault AirBike. To help you integrate these tools effectively into your workouts, here are some insights and tips on their optimal use.
The hex bar, also known as a trap bar, is a versatile piece of equipment favored by athletes and fitness enthusiasts for its ability to facilitate various exercises such as deadlifts, squats, and farmer’s walks. Its unique design positions the weight around your body, aligning the load with your center of mass. This alignment allows for greater quad engagement, a more upright torso, and less stress on the spine compared to traditional barbell deadlifts.
Step inside the hex bar, ensuring your feet are shoulder-width apart. Keep your back straight, chest up, and engage your core as you lift. This setup usually allows people to lift considerably more weight than they could with a straight bar, and in a safer manner.
After lifting the hex bar, walk forward in a controlled manner, maintaining an upright posture. This exercise enhances grip strength and core stability.
The handle surface of the hex bar can be rough. To protect your hands and ensure a secure grip, consider wearing gloves during use.
The Schwinn Assault AirBike is one of the best on the market. The assault bike a fan-assisted exercise bike that uses air to increase resistance—the faster you pedal, the more resistance the bike provides.
This dynamic resistance mechanism makes it a popular choice among athletes and in CrossFit gyms for its ability to deliver high-intensity, full-body workouts.
Utilize both the pedals and the moving handlebars to engage your upper and lower body simultaneously, maximizing calorie burn and cardiovascular conditioning.
The Assault AirBike is suitable for both low-intensity steady-state cardio and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). You control the resistance by adjusting your pedaling speed, allowing for a customized workout experience.
For an increased challenge, advanced users can remove the seat and pedal while standing, significantly intensifying the cardiovascular demand.
Both the hex bar and the Assault AirBike are excellent additions to diversify your training regimen.
Incorporating these tools can lead to improved strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
