What Would You Do If Jesus Was Your Coach?

Let me ask you something powerful.

What would you do if Jesus was your coach?

I’m not here to get religious on you. I’m here to challenge the way you think about commitment, belief, and the excuses that keep you stuck.

A Story That Hit Me Like Lightning.

The other day I was meeting with a new client. Like always, I was excited—I love meeting people because every single connection has the potential to change my life or theirs. That’s been true since I came to America 25 years ago, alone, hungry, and dreaming of building a family and a better future.

She walked in, filled out the paperwork, and we jumped into the session. I gave her everything—clear explanations on form, training intensity, nutrition, meal structure. I encouraged her to ask questions, double-checked her understanding, and left no stone unturned.

Finally, we sat down in my office. I presented her the price list. To me, it was a fair trade for the dream life she said she wanted.

Her answer? “I need to think about it.”

And in that moment, it hit me like a lightning bolt.

It wasn’t about time. It wasn’t about money.

It wasn’t about motivation.

It was about belief.

What Would You Do If Jesus Was Your Coach

The “Guru” Test

So I asked her: Do you believe in God? In anything greater than yourself?

She said she was “spiritual.”

Perfect. I told her: Imagine your spiritual guide—whether that’s Jesus, Moses, Buddha, whoever—was right here in front of you. Imagine you waited in line for 10 hours, with news cameras from all over the world broadcasting this historic moment. Imagine the electricity in the air when it’s finally your turn to meet the one person you believe holds the key to your transformation.

Now imagine that person looks you in the eye and says:

“$500 a week for six months. Do this and your dream will come true.”

Would you hesitate? Would you say, “I need to think about it?” Of course not. You’d find a way, You’d beg, borrow, sacrifice, and commit.

Not because of the money—but because you finally believe this is the path to the life you want.

The Real-Life Moment

As I was sitting there in that chair looking at her, she didn’t see a prophet or a glowing saint. She saw a regular guy. Not a tall, handsome, godly-looking Hollywood actor. This wasn’t a movie with a motivational twist—it was real life. And she was the main character.

I wasn’t floating in the air like in the films. It was real. It was raw. And it was her time to commit—to say yes to everything she always wanted.

And that was scary.

Because we say we want to be fit, strong, powerful, and confident. But do we really understand the responsibility that comes with it? The spotlight? For the first time, she would be seen and heard. For the first time, her opinion would matter, her presence would turn heads, and her voice would carry weight.

Are we ready for that?

Are we ready to step into our dream life?

Are we ready to become the person we always wanted to be?

The answer is yours.

Belief Is the Real Currency

That’s the point. It’s never just about money. It’s about belief.

We delay, procrastinate, and “think about it” because deep down, we’re not sure we deserve it. We’re not sure it’s possible. We’re not sure we can follow through.

But when you believe—truly believe—the decision becomes effortless.

I came to America with nothing. No family, no safety net, no guarantee. What I did have was belief. I believed in a better life, in new possibilities, in the strength of my own effort. That belief fueled me through fear, doubt, and loneliness. And it gave me everything I needed to succeed.

And yet, even after all this, she doubled down with: “I need to think about it.”

So I leaned in and asked: What makes you believe that the same brain and mind that chose pasta over salmon, and pizza over vegetables, is suddenly going to make a better decision now? What makes you believe that the same brain that has been making bad choices all along will suddenly become a wise guy?

She lowered her eyes and hesitated.

And I reminded her: My job is not to speak like a Hollywood actor. My job is to help you become the best version of yourself.

Three days later, she called me back.

And we started her journey. Let’s put it this way—it was one of the best choices she ever made.

Your Move

So I’ll ask you again:

What would you do if Jesus—or whoever you hold sacred—was your coach?

Would you commit? Would you show up? Would you push past every excuse, every doubt, every hesitation?

Here’s the truth: you don’t need Jesus as your coach. You already have the power to believe in yourself. The question is—when will you finally act like it?

Stop waiting. Stop “thinking about it.” Believe. Commit. And transform.

If you’re ready to step into the strongest, healthiest, most confident version of yourself, then it’s time to stop putting your future on hold.

This isn’t a movie. This is real life. And you’re the main character.
